This is a UI module that functions identically to the MerchantUI module (mmui.mv) except it adds in hooks for 3rd party developers to add features without requiring code modifications. This installation is accomplished by following the directions below and using the enclosed OpenUI Installer/Updater. The OpenUI Installer/Updater can also be used at any time to update your OpenUI code to the latest released version. A reminder that most of your store settings will have to be entered again due to the way that Merchant associates store settings with the specific UI module. To avoid this, follow the instructions below to Export and Import your store settings. Also, the OpenUI includes Open Customer Email and Merchant Email modules. These modules email the same information as the non-Open versions but will allow extension modules to safely add information to these emails in the same way the OpenUI works. These modules will be automatically installed and the non-Open versions will be disabled. All settings will be automatically copied over. If you have customized Merchant Email and/or Customer Email modules, you simply need to go into your Order Fulfillment section and go to the Open Customer Email and/or the Order Merchant Email and uncheck the Enable checkboxes and click the Update button. This will re-enable the non-Open versions with their original settings. Installing the OpenUI Installer/Updater(tm) Utility module(s): 1. Run the admin.mv 2. Open the "Modules" branch 3.
